f(x)
SM Entertainment can be said is the expert on choosing short names for its KPop groups. Starting from H.O.T, TVXQ/DBSK, Trax, etc. This trend continues to  f(x); whose members consists of Krystal, Sulli, Amber, Luna, and Victoria.
Using math formula, the name of f(x) means many. The letter 'f' stands for 'flower' and x represents women chromosome. So, in short, f(x) expected to become a girlsband that can adapt and transform on many situation. From this name then also came up new nickname for this group - Function Girls. Only God knows what the meaning of that.
