2AM


2AM is a South Korean four-member ballad boy band under JYP Entertainment. The members are Jinwoon, Jo Kwon, Seulong, and Changmin. 2AM is one of the two subgroups branched out from the eleven-member (before Jaebeom's departure) boy band One Day, the other being 2PM. They officially debuted on July 11, 2008 on KBS's Music Bank, performing their debut song "This Song". They won their first Mutizen at Inkigayo on February 7, 2010 with "Can't Let You Go Even If I Die".

2AM made a comeback with a second album, "죽어도 못 보내", on January 21, 2010 with "죽어도 못 보내 (Even If I Die I Can't Let You Go)" as the promoted track. In the week before the release, JYP Entertainment revealed a total of four teasers on their Youtube account. Along with a group teaser, the individual shots were based on the seasons. On February 7, 2010, 2AM won their first Mutizen award on Inkigayo since their debut. On February 25, 2010, their second win was on Mnet M! Countdown. They won a second Mutizen on their final day of promotions for "죽어도 못 보내 (Even If I Die I Can't Let You Go)" on March 7, 2010.

On March 5, 2010, 2AM revealed cuts of their new image through their official website. Jo Kwon, Changmin, Seulong, and Jinwoon respectively transformed to a club DJ, an ice hockey player, a biker, and a basketball player for their new 10 minute drama-music video. The repackaged mini album featured four additional songs, three from their first and second singles and one entirely new song titled "잘못했어 (I Did Wrong)", which was their promoted track. One representative stated, “The song we’re releasing is something that 2AM has never shown before and is a brand new type of music”. A portion of the song was revealed in the first episode of 2AM's new reality show 2AM DAY on March 10, where the members playfully sing along to it in the car. Four teasers were released for each member from March 12 to March 14. A leaked version of Part 1 of the music video was released on March 15, having been recorded by camera at 2AM's subway showcase. The album was released on March 18, 2010 and "I Was Wrong" won the Mnet M! Countdown on April 1, 2010.

2PM


2PM is a South Korean boy band, originally a seven-member group, but currently consisting of six members due to the sudden contract termination of leader Jaebeom following an Internet controversy in September 2009. They are managed by JYP Entertainment. The current members are Junsu, Junho, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung and Chansung.

They debuted with the song "10 Jeom Manjeome 10 Jeom" (10점 만점에 10점, lit. 10 Points Out of 10 Points), which showcased their acrobatic dance styles. They achieved their first No. 1 song with "Again & Again".

2PM's and 2AM's training days were filmed in a documentary called Hot Blood Men, which aired on Mnet. The show documented the time by time training program of the JYP trainees who were to be part of the group "One Day", as well as the elimination of three trainees from the group during the time.

Lee Seung Gi


Lee Seung Gi born January 13, 1987 is a South Korean singer, actor and MC. Scouted by singer Lee Sun Hee, Lee Seung Gi was trained for 2 years before debuting on June 5, 2004 at the age of 17. Because You're My Girl, his debut song from his first album The Dream Of A Moth, was a very popular ballad and created a "liking older women" syndrome in South Korea. With this song, he won the "Best Newcomer" award in various music awards ceremonies in 2004. In 2007, he also won the "Best Male Solo Artist" award in the M.net KM Music Festival with his song White Lie from his third album Story Of Separation.

Lee Seung Gi released a digital single Will You Marry Me in 2009, which became a big hit in South Korea although there was no official promotion. With this single, he received the "Digital Single Bonsang" award in the 24th Golden Disk Awards. In 2010, he recorded a duet version of his 2007 song Smile Boy with South Korean figure skater Kim Yuna, and the song was the official 2010 FIFA World Cup commercial song in South Korea. He also received the "Digital Single Bonsang" award for the second consecutive time in the 25th Golden Disk Awards with his song Love Taught Me To Drink, which was widely popular even though it was not promoted actively.

In 2005, Lee Seung Gi guest-starred in MBC's sitcom Nonstop 5. He then officially debuted as an actor in KBS's 2006 weekend drama The Infamous Chil Sisters. In 2008, he was offered the main character role in MBC's historical drama The Return of Iljimae, but was forced to turn down the offer due to his tight schedule. He was cast as the main male character of SBS's weekend drama Brilliant Legacy in 2009, starring with Korean actresses Han Hyo Joo and Moon Chae Won. The drama maintained its top spot in viewer ratings for ten consecutive weeks and ended on July 26, 2009 with its 28th episode attaining a high viewer rating of 47.1%. The huge success boosted Lee Seung Gi's popularity as an actor in both South Korea and overseas. With this drama, he received the "Excellence in Acting (Special Production)" award, the "Top 10 Stars" award and the "Best Couple" award with Han Hyo Joo in the 2009 SBS Drama Awards. His great performance in 2010 SBS's Wednesday-Thursday drama My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox similarly earned him his second "Excellence in Acting (Drama Special)" award, "Top 10 Stars" award and "Best Couple" award with his co-star Shin Min Ah in the 2010 SBS Drama Awards.

Kim YuNa


Kim Yu-Na born September 5, 1990 is a South Korean figure skater.
She is the 2010 Olympic champion in Ladies' Singles, the 2009 World champion, the 2009 Four Continents champion, a three-time (2006–2007, 2007–2008, 2009–2010) Grand Prix Final champion, the 2006 World Junior champion, the 2005–2006 Junior Grand Prix Final champion, and a four-time (2002–2005) South Korean national champion.

Kim is the first South Korean figure skater to win a medal at an ISU Junior or Senior Grand Prix event, ISU Championship, and the Olympic Games. She is the first female skater to win the Olympic Games, the World Championships, the Four Continents Championships and the Grand Prix Final. She is one of the most highly recognized athletes and media figures in South Korea.

As of April 2011, she is ranked second in the world by the International Skating Union (ISU). She is the current record holder for ladies in the short program, the free skating and the combined total  under the ISU Judging System. She is also the first female skater to surpass the 200-point mark under the ISU Judging System. She has never been placed off the podium in her entire career.

Park Ji Sung


Park Ji-Sung born 25 February 1981 is a South Korean footballer who plays as a midfielder for English club Manchester United. He was also the captain of the South Korean national team until his retirement from international football. He is the most decorated footballer in Asian history, as the first South Korean player to have won the UEFA Champions League and the first Asian to have played in a final of the tournament.

Park began his football career in his native South Korea and played for the Myongji University team before moving to Japan to play for Kyoto Purple Sanga. After Park's national team manager Guus Hiddink moved back to the Netherlands to manage PSV Eindhoven, Park followed him to the Dutch side a year later. After PSV reached the semi-finals of the 2004–05 UEFA Champions League, Park's talents were recognised by Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson and he signed Park for a fee of around £4 million in July 2005. Since then, Park has played in three consecutive Premier League-winning Manchester United teams and has also won the UEFA Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup. Park is able to play anywhere across the midfield and is noted for his exceptional fitness level, discipline, work ethic and off-the-ball movement.

As a member of the South Korean national team, Park won 100 caps and scored 13 goals, and was a member of the team that finished fourth at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. He also represented his nation at the 2006 FIFA World Cup and was captain at the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Park scored in all three consecutive tournaments (the first South Korean and only second Asian player to do so) and is currently Asia's joint all-time leading goalscorer at the FIFA World Cup finals with three goals, alongside compatriot Ahn Jung-Hwan, and Saudi Arabia's Sami Al-Jaber. Park retired from international football after the 2011 Asian Cup.

Seohyun


Seohyun born on June 28, 1991 in Seoul as Seo Joo-Hyun  is South Korean pop singer, dancer, actress, model and spokesmodel. She is a member of the Korean girl group Girls' Generation and is known as the youngest member and main vocalist of the group.

According to a poll that was conducted by a cosmetics surgery hospital in Seoul, results showed that out of the 781 netizens who participated, 348 (44.5%) voted for Seohyun as the “girl group member who shows the best natural beauty”.

Yoona


Im Yoon-Ah  born May 30, 1989, commonly stylized as YoonA , is a popular South Korean pop singer, dancer, actress, model and spokesmodel. She is a member of the Korean girl group Girls' Generation and is known as the center-girl, lead dancer and sub-vocalist of the group.

Im Yoon-Ah was born in Daegu, South Korea on May 30, 1990. At a young age, she auditioned at the SM Saturday Open Casting Audition and joined the company in 2002. She began to train with the other trainees under the same company in the areas of acting, singing and dancing.

Sooyoung


Choi Soo-young born February 10, 1990, commonly known as Sooyoung , is a South Korean singer, actress, spokesmodel, TV presenter, and radio DJ. She is a member of the Korean girl group Girls' Generation.

Choi Soo-young was born in Gwangju, Gyeonggi, South Korea on February 10, 1990. She has one older sister, Choi Soo Jin. She was discovered on SM Casting System via the 2000 SM Open Audition. She then auditioned for the 2002 Korea-Japan Ultra Idol Duo Audition and won first place, marking her debut into the Japanese music scene with the band Route 0.

Sooyoung graduated from JeongShin Women High School  in 2009 and is currently majoring in performing arts and theater at Chung-Ang University.After winning first place in the 2002 Korea-Japan Ultra Idol Duo, Sooyoung was sent to Japan and debuted as a member of the duo Route 0, alongside Malina Takahashi. Hyoyeon


Kim Hyo-yeon born September 22, 1989 better known by her first name Hyoyeon, is a South Korean singer, dancer, and model. She is a member of South Korean girl group Girls' Generation, formed by SM Entertainment in 2007.

Hyoyeon was born in Incheon, South Korea on September 22, 1989. She is ambidextrous and grew up with her parents and her younger brother Kim Min Gu. She auditioned for SM Entertainment at the age of 11 through SM 2000 Casting System. Hyoyeon herself said, she had no intentions to audition, but her mother was a fan of SM Entertainment's boy band H.O.T. and brought her to the offices in the hopes, perhaps, of seeing them.

Kwon Yuri (born December 5, 1989) also known by her given name Yuri, is a South Korean singer, actress, model, dancer. She is a member of South Korean girl group, Girls' Generation, created by SM Entertainment.

She auditioned at the SM Entertainment Casting System and joined the company in 2001 after finishing in second place in the 2001 SM Youth Best Dancer Contest. Tiffany


Tiffany was born August 1, 1989 in California, and grew up in Diamond Bar as the youngest of three siblings. She auditioned at the SM Entertainment Starlight Casting System and joined the company on October 2004 in Los Angeles. She was trained for 3 years and 7 months in SM Entertainment.

Sunny


Born as Lee Soon-kyu on May 15, 1989 known as a South Korean singer, radio DJ, music show host and member of the Korean girl group Girls' Generation, formed by SM Entertainment in 2007.

Sunny has mentioned that she lived in Kuwait when she was an infant. However, her family then moved to South Korea around the time of the Gulf War. She has two older sisters, all of which share the same birthday. Her father was in the college band Hwaljooro with Bae Chul-soo. She is the niece of Lee Soo Man, the founder of SM Entertainment.

Jung Soo-yeon born April 18, 1989, better known by her first name Jessica, is an American singer, dancer, actress and model. She was born in San Francisco, and is fluent in both Korean and English. She is a member of the South Korean nine-member girl group Girls' Generation.

She had been trained for seven years as a trainee before debuting with Girls' Generation. Her younger sister, Krystal Jung, is a member of the Korean girl group f(x), also created by SM Entertainment.

Jessica was the first member to be signed with SM Entertainment in 2000. In 2007, she was chosen as a member of the group Girls' Generation. The 9-member girl group debuted on August 5, 2007.
The group has released two full albums, three mini-albums, and various singles.
